The service
Utilo offers free tools that run in your browser. We may add, change or remove tools, or stop the site, at any time and without notice. We do our best to keep it available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always work or be free of errors.
Your files and content
Your files and text are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. You remain responsible for what you process: please only use files you have the right to use, and keep a copy of your originals, because some tools change the file (for example, compressing a PDF turns its pages into images and the text can no longer be selected).
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful, to try to disrupt or overload it, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or to copy or resell the site as a whole.
Results and advice
The calculators (percentages, age, loans, VAT) give estimates for information only. They are not financial, tax, legal or professional advice. Check important figures yourself or with a professional before you rely on them.
Intellectual property
The design, texts and code of Utilo belong to the site’s owner or its licensors. The site also uses open-source libraries, which remain under their own licences. Your files remain yours.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including lost or damaged files or incorrect results. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
Advertising and third parties
The site shows ads and may link to other websites. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising and analytics work.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
