Why use a percentage calculator?
Percentages are everywhere: sale prices, tips, taxes, grades, price rises and statistics. The formulas are simple but easy to get the wrong way round, especially when you work out a percentage change or a discount in your head. A calculator gives you the answer together with the sentence that explains it, so you can check that you asked the right question.
